Claymore

Claymore

Claymore, in my opinion, is one of the best animes I have ever seen in my entire life. After the 1st or 2nd episode, it drew me in and I still love it to this day. This anime contains lots and lots of action and a little bit of drama.

Claymores are women that slay youma, or demons; Other people know them as "Silver Eyed Witches" probably because the Claymores are half youma, half human. A kid named Raki recently loses his brother Zaki from a Yoma. Clare ends up saving Raki and then suddenly leaves the village. Raki is grateful to her, but the people of the village exile Raki thinking he might be a Yoma too. He begs Clare to go with her and she agrees. Throughout the story, Clare and Raki encounter other Claymores and youmas to battle.

I would recommend Claymore to everyone! The animation is really good, storyline is awesome and the voice actors are super!

D.N. Angel

D.N. Angel

Okay. I just finished D.N. Angel in September. My friend recommended this anime to me cause she saw it as a kid. I thought this one was really good. The only anime I saw as a kid was Bobobo-Bo Bo-bobo, and I loved it (I will review that one sometime soon, when i see all the episodes again)

Daisuke Niwa is just a regular teenager, or so you think. Daisuke has a major crush on a girl named Risa Harada. On his 14th birthday, he decides to admit his love to her but sadly she rejects him. Later that night, he transforms into another person. Daisuke's mom explains to him that all the guys in Daisuke's family gain the countenance Dark Mousy due to a strange genetic condition. Dark Mousy is most known as the "Phantom Thief".

Daisuke transforms into Dark when he has feelings for his crush or thinks about Risa too long. The only enemy Phantom Thief has are the police. He must keep his family's secret so that NOBODY knows except for his family. This anime is about Daisuke living his days as Phantom Dark and trying to win over Risa Harada.

This anime is kind of old, but it is really good. The storyline was great, graphics good, and the voice actors seemed fine. I would suggest this to everyone.

Black Butler (also known as Kuroshitsuji)

Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji

Black Butler is simply one hell of an anime (if you've seen this anime, you'd get what I did there xD) . This anime has to be one of the best I've seen, not in my top 10 but something I really liked. Black Butler contains some drama, action here and there, and a little comedy in-between.

Ciel Phantomhive is the son of Lord Vincent Phantomhive and Lady Rachel Phantomhive. On the day of Ciel's 10th birthday, his house is burnt down and goes missing. One month later, a butler named Sebastian Michaelis appears by his side. The Phantomhive household as known as the "Queen's Watchdogs" as they are ordered to protect the Queen from any threats or people who want to hurt/kill her.

Ciel experiences his days with his butler, Sebastian, who everyone thinks is just a regular man; but he's not. Sebastian is actually is a demon butler, that is his special secret. Ciel and Sebastian are not alone in the house, they are accompanied by Finnian, the gardener; the clumsy maid, Mey-Rin; house steward Tanaka (he only laughs, which is the best thing in the anime ever); and the cook, Bardroy.

This was a really good anime. J. Michael Tatum owned this role as Sebastian, he was absolutely perfect. The graphics are really good and the storyline is great!

(Sorry this is so late guys, school and Marching Band get in the way of everything :( I'm trying the best I can to do these reviews guys!)

Girls Bravo

Girls Bravo

(Hey guys, sorry for the delay! I've been so busy with marching Band camp and I'm starting school next week, so reviews are gonna be delayed but I will do my best to post reviews every week, I promise!)

I just finished Girls Bravo not too long ago. If I had one word to describe it...pervertedness (if that even is a word) Trust me. There are so many perverted things, nudity and lots of boobs (if one of my friends watched this, he'd be in total heaven) But besides all that, I have to say...the storyline is really good. Girls Bravo is full of comedy, a little romance, and is science fiction.

Yukinari Sasaki is a regular high school boy with an allergy to girls. Yep, I said girls. He developed the allergy from being teased and bullied by them too much which started his allergic reaction. To make matters worse, his neighbor, Kirie Kojima, is a girl. One day after school, Kirie and Yukinari get into an argument and he's kicked into the bathtub and is magically transported to a different planet called Seiren. He soon finds out that Seiren is mostly populated by women! But while he's there, he meets a beautiful girl named Miharu.

The one unusual thing about Miharu is that Yukinari doesn't get his allergy when she gets close to him. Soon enough, the two escape from Seiren and get transported back to Earth. All throughout the anime, Yukinari shows Miharu about his home planet and they meet new girls transported from Seiren to Earth and have many unique and some weird adventures.

Besides all the nudity and boobs and pervertedness, this anime isn't really that bad. Good graphics, storyline is great and different voice actors.

xxxHolic

xxxHolic

xxxHolic. How do I describe this anime in one word? Amazing. I love this anime to death! It gives off a sort of creepy and paranormal vibe that is just fantastic. xxxHolic is full of paranormal (not like paranormal to give you nightmares and the creeps) and a bit of comedy.

Kimihiro Watanuki sees things that other people don't see. Ghosts and spirits. When trying to run away from them, he ends up at a mysterious shop. He doesn't just end up there, he's pulled into it. He meets the owner of the shop Yuuko Ichihara, her servants Maru and Moro and her small pet Mokona. Yuuko isn't any original shop owner, she grants wishes and she's a space time witch. Thinking about his ghost problem, Watanuki asks Yuuko to grant him a wish.

She only has one condition. Work for her. As he agrees to the job, he goes through many experiences and meets many customers in unique situations that need Yuuko's assistance. He also has many interesting days with his crush Himawari Kunogi and somewhat love rival Shizuka Doumeki.

I personally LOVED this anime. I would recommend this to anyone who won't get creeped out. Awesome voice actors, the graphics are really unique, and the storyline is fantastic.

Rideback

Rideback

Rideback to me is one of those unique animes you never see all the time. This anime doesn't focus on fighting demons or high school teenagers or even sappy romance. Nope. This anime focuses on a girl and a motorcycle. Rideback is composed of action, racing and some science fiction.

The Global Government Plan, or GGP, has taken control of the world with their evil plans dictatorship during the time-frame in this anime. While this is going on, Rin Ogata has visioned of becoming the best ballet dancer. During a performance one night, she suddenly injures herself and is forced to give up ballet. Years pass and she goes onto college. In college, she stumbles upon the Rideback club. Ridebacks are transforming robotic motorcycle-like vehicles. When she gives it a try, her ballet skills come in handy making her seem like a pro on the Rideback. Rin decides to join the Rideback club while meeting new friends along the way and staying out of trouble with the government.

Rideback is pretty good anime. Good choice of voice actors, storyline is great and the graphics are very well drawn.

Fruits Basket

Fruits Basket

Fruits Basket has to be one of the best animes I've ever seen. This plot is so much more unique than any other anime there is. The plot is what drew me into seeing this anime. That and my best friend showed me this. This anime is school-life, a little romance, and a little drama as well.

Tohru Honda is a regular school girl, but she lives in a tent in the middle of the woods after her mom died in a car accident. One day, she stumbles upon a small house in the woods that is owned by one of her classmates Yuki Sohma. She also meets Yuki's cousin, Shigure Sohma. After finding out she lives in a tent, they ask her to live with them and agrees to. But suddenly, Yuki's other cousin drops by to battle him, Kyo Sohma. When Tohru tries to break up the fight, she accidentally hugs Kyo, Yuki, and Shigure suddenly turning them into animals. Yuki as a rat; Kyo as a cat; and Shigure as a dog.

The situation is, the Sohmas live with a curse. When they are hugged by the opposite gender, are under stress or are weak, they turn into one of the 12 animals from the Chinese Zodiac: Dog, rat, dragon (in anime - sea horse), tiger, horse, ox (in anime - cow), rabbit, snake, sheep (in anime - ram), monkey, rooster, and pig. As Tohru finds out their secret, she swears to not tell anyone. During the anime, she goes along her days with Yuki, Kyo, and Shigure meeting the other Sohmas and finding out their Zodiac form.

I highly recommend this anime to anyone. The voice actors are great, the graphics are pretty well, and the storyline is amazing!
